BNP has changed the scheduled of its affiliated organisations' youth rallies.
Top leaders of Chhatra Dal, Jubo Dal and Sechsebak Dal announced the change today (June 7) at a press conference at the BNP Chairperson's political office in Gulshan in the capital.
Jubo Dal President Sultan Salahuddin Tuku alleged that the youth could not vote for a long time, the rally programme was announced in 6 divisions including Dhaka and Bogura district on 2 June to establish their right to vote.
Two days later, on 4 June, the Jubo League called for a programme at the same place at the same time, he added.
In a reply to the journalists, Tuku said that a new program has been announced due to the fact that Zia's soldiers do not want conflict.
The Jubo League will show good sense without changing their program, said the Jubo Dal president.
"We will not delay the program anymore," he added
The rescheduled date, time and venue are as follows: Chattogram on Wednesday (June 14), Bogura on Monday (June 19), Barisal on Saturday (June 24), Sylhet on Sunday (July 9), Khulna on Monday (July 17) and Dhaka on Saturday (July 22).
