Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today said that now it is a matter to see how the new US visa police will act after BNP's threat to foil the polls.
He said: "The US said the new visa policy will be applied to those who will create obstruction in holding a free and fair election. We will see whether the policy will be blind, dumb or it will be realistic."
Quader was replying to reporters after visiting 4.5 kilometers of BRT Project's construction work at Tongi in Gazipur.
"They (US) can make visa policy. It doesn't matter to us. We also may have visa policy. We also can make policy. Wait and see," he said.
The minister said whenever anyone talks about corruption and misrule, he or she must utter the name of BNP.
Talks of corruption and misrule don't suit BNP as they committed those crimes, he said.
The minister said no cattle market will be allowed in the streets this time to make the Eid journey of the holidaymakers smoother.
