Former Bangladesh skipper Tamim Iqbal made a call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban on Friday (July 8).
Tamim, who made a shocking retirement decision on Thursday, arrived at the Ganabhaban premises on Friday afternoon and met the Bangladesh premier.
The left-hander, who served Bangladesh for 16 years, played 70 Tests, 241 ODIs and 78 T20Is in his career and scored over 15000 runs – the only Bangladesh batsman to achieve that landmark to date.
Tamim is also the lone Bangladeshi cricketer to score a hundred in all three formats of the game.
