PIROJPUR: Upazila unit of Juba Dal called a half-day hartal for Saturday in protest against the arrest, filing of false cases and harassment by police.

The declaration of hartal was disclosed through a press release signed by Upazila Juba Dal general secretary Mizanur Rahman Ripon.
    
Earlier on December 4, police detained Upazila Juba Dal assistant general secretary Sohel Sikdar.
