People faced disruption in the network and internet services on their cellphones during BNP rally at Naya Paltan area in the capital on Wednesday (July 12), said party leaders and activists.
A Journalist, who also worked there to cover the event, had the same complaint.
BNP leaders and activists also said there was no mobile network and internet connection in the rally area since this afternoon.
BNP has started its rally in front of its central office at Nayapaltan in the capital today.
The rally started around 2:00 pm.
The party is holding the rally to kick off their one-point movement for forcing the government to hold the next parliamentary polls under an election-time caretaker government.
According to their announcement, from now on, BNP will be on the field with a one-point movement to oust the present government.
The party men have already gathered at the rally venue in brief processions from different wards chanting slogans, carrying placards and posters.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will speak at the rally as the chief guest.
