DHAKA: Police held five Shibir men with cocktails from capital’s Banasree and Gabtali area on Saturday morning, the first day of 18-party called 72-hour blockade.

Sources said that Jamaat-Shibir men tried to bring out a procession in Banasree area at around 07:30am.

Meanwhile, police chased and held four Shibir activists with four cocktails and party banners.

Rampura Thana Officer-in-Charge Kripa Sidhu Bala confirmed the matter to banglanews.

On the other hand, Darus Salam Thana police picked up a Shibir man with cocktail from Gabtoli.
