The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has given permission to both the Awami League (AL) and the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) to hold their rallies scheduled for tomorrow (July 28) at their preferred locations subject to 23 conditions.
DMP Commissioner Khandaker Golam Faruq came up with the announcement at a press meet at DMP headquarters in the capital on Thursday (July 27) noon.
BNP will hold the rally outside the party office in the capital's Nayapaltan while AL will hold its rally at the south gate of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.
Earlier on July 26, AL rescheduled their rally, after BNP's fresh announcement regarding the rally in the city.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir came up with this information at a press conference Wednesday evening.
