The "peace rally" of the three associate bodies of the ruling Awami League started at the south gate of Baitul Mukarram on Friday (July 28) afternoon. 

Jubo League, Swechchhasebak League and Chhatra League organised the rally that started around 3:00pm.

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader attend the rally as chief guest.  

Earlier, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has given permission to both the Awami League (AL) and the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) to hold their rallies at their preferred locations subject to 23 conditions.
