DHAKA: The dawn-to-dusk hartal, called by Chhatra Dal, student wing of BNP, was observed in nine districts including Dhaka and Chittagong on Sunday.

 in protest against the arrest of its president and Dhaka (north) unit senior vice president.

The districts are Dhaka, Chittagong, Patuakhali, Munshiganj, Noakhali, Khagrachhari, Shariatpur, Joypurhat and Comilla.
