Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Sramik Dal's Dhaka Metropolitan South member secretary Munshi Badrul Alam Sabuj has been picked up by plainclothes police members, BNP alleged.

BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi raised the allegation through a statement issued on Monday (July 31)

According to him, a team of plainclothes police picked Sabuj up into a microbus from Shantinagar intersection around 11:30pm on Sunday (July 30).

BNP, however, demanded the unconditional release of Sabuj and urged to back him to his family members.
