DHAKA: At least 10 leaders and activists of Jubo Dal and Chhatra Dal sustained bullet injuries in a clash with police in Kashipur area under Fatulla upazila of Narayanganj district on Tuesday morning, the fourth day of blockade called by 18-party alliance

Witnesses said leaders and activists of Jubo Dal and Chhatra Dal brought out a procession in support of blockade in the area at around 7:45am.

Processionists vandalized some vehicles and exploded cocktails. Being informed, police rushed to the spot.

Blockaders hurled brick-chips and cocktails at police men that triggered a clash.  After half an hour chase and counter chase, police fired rounds of rubber bullets and tear shells, leaving 10 people injured, the witnesses added.

Fatulla thana officer-in-charge (investigation) Saiful Islam confirmed the matter of clash but avoid to make any comment about casualties.
