BNP demanded that the party Chairperson Khaleda Zia be sent abroad for better medical treatment amid concerns of the medical board.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made this demand while talking to journalists after visiting the grave of late Arafat Rahman Koko in Banani on Saturday (August 12) morning on the occasion of his 54th birthday.
He said, “I was present in the hospital on Frida. A medical board has been for the treatment of Khaleda Zia. The physicians of the board are very worried.”
“They think that if Khaleda Zia is not sent abroad for better treatment immediately, it is not certain whether Khaleda Zia’s treatment will be completely possible in Dhaka. They have repeatedly said that she (Khaleda) should be sent to an advanced center abroad for treatment,” he added.
