DHAKA: United Kingdom’s Senior Minister of State at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office Sayeeda Warsi is holding a meeting with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmed on Thursday noon.

The British Minister entered the election commission secretariat at 1:15pm.
    
Election Commission Sources said that the ongoing political crisis centering upcoming general elections would be the key issue of their talks.

Baroness Warsi is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Opposition Chairperson over ongoing political crisis.

British High Commission to Dhaka confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier in the morning, Warsi arrived in Dhaka on Thursday morning on an hours-long tour.

Later, after the press briefing at evening Warsi will leave Dhaka for United Kingdom.

Earlier on April, she visited Dhaka and gave emphasize on holding dialogue to settle the ongoing political stalemate.
