Six Islamic political parties on Monday (September 4) formed a new alliance named ‘Liberal Islamic Alliance’.

Leaders of the six political parties declared a new alliance through a press conference at Abdus Salam Hall at National Press Club in the capital this morning.

The six Islamic parties are --Bangladesh Supreme Party (BSP), Bangladesh Islami Oikyajote, Ashikine Awlaia Oikyajote Parishad Bangladesh, Bangladesh Janodal(BJD), Krishak Sramic Party(KSP) and National Awami Party (NAP Vashani), BSS reports.
