DHAKA: Ruling Awami League aspirant for the upcoming 10th general election from Dhaka-15 constituency Kamal Ahmed Majumder was fined on Wednesday for violating the electoral code of conduct.

An Executive Magistrate Tasnia Jaigirder fined the ruling lawmaker Tk 25,000 and jailed three months jail, in default.

Magistrate Tasnia Jaigirder confirmed the matter to banglanews.
