BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir held a meeting with US Ambassador to Dhaka Peter Haas on Thursday (October 12).

They met each other at the American club in Gulshan this afternoon, said BNP source.

According to BNP source, the meeting started at 1:15pm and continued for an hour. 

Arturo Hines, Political and Economic Vice-Counselor of the US Embassy was also present in the meeting, BNP source added.

Earlier, Peter Haas had several meetings with BNP leaders.
