LALMONIRHAT: Joint forces in separate drives held 22 activists of BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatra Shibir from various spots of Patgram Upazila of the district on Friday.

The identity of the detainees could not be known immediately.

Confirming the matter, Lalmonirhat Additional Police Super Asad-Al-Mahfuz told banglanews, “Police held them for their alleged involvement in attacking police, vandalizing vehicles an obstructing police from discharging duties.”

The detainees will be produced before court, he added.
