Police today (October 15) arrested Brahmanbaria district BNP member secretary Sirajul Islam Siraj in a case filed over the vandalism of the district Awami League (AL) office in 2016.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Brahmanbaria Sadar Model police station Aslam Hossain confirmed the matter.

Sirajul was arrested based on the court's arrest warrant and has already been sent to court, Aslam said. 

Recently, a court issued an arrest warrant against BNP leader Siraj in that case.
