The Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police picked up BNP Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khokon from his brother’s home in Sipahibagh area of the capital.

He was detained Thursday night from his brother's residence, said BNP chief's press wing Shamsuddin Dider in the morning quoting Khokon's wife Shirin Sultana.

A team of Detective Branch (DB) of police picked him up from there, he said.
