Lieutenant General (retd) Chowdhury Hasan Sarwardi has been placed on 8-day remand.

Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court of Dhaka passed the order on Wednesday.

After the hearing, the court granted 8-day remand.

Police arrested Lieutenant General Chowdhury Hasan Sarwardy (retd) on October 31 in a case filed on charge of presenting a fake advisor of US president to destabilise the country.
