SIRAJGANJ: Blockaders torched at least five trucks in Sadar and Rayganj Upazila of the district during third day of blockade called by BNP-led 18-party alliance on early Monday.

Witnesses said that the activists of Jamaat-Shibir set fire a vegetable laden truck in Bangabandhu Bridge link road around 02:30am.  

Later, blockade supporters torched two fertilizer and pulse laden trucks around 03:00am.

Blockaders also set fire a truck and a Bogra-bound currier service van.

Hatikumrul Highway Thana Officer-in-Charge Ali Farid Ahmed confirmed the matter to banglanews.
