DHAKA: Ruling Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif termed Khaleda Zia a ‘Pakistani Agent’ as she didn’t protest the condemn resolution adopted by Pakistan National Assembly over the execution of Jamaat leader Quader Mollah.

The AL leader came up with the observation while addressing a discussion meeting organized by Chhatra League, at Jagannath University Monday.

Indicating Khaleda Zia, Hanif said, “If you love the country, just hate Pakistani resolution and help the trial of war criminals.”

He added: “Any country along with Pakistan has no right to interfere in any activities of Bangladesh. Khaleda did not decry Pakistani bill because she is Pakistani agent.”

Jagannath University Chhatra League president Shariful Islam presided over the discussion meeting.

Chhatra League former general secretary Nazrul Islam Babu and incumbent general secretary Siddiki Nazmul Alam also spoke.
