Rumeen Farhana, the co-secretary of international affairs for BNP and a former member of parliament, held a meeting with two officials from the United States Embassy in the capital. 

The meeting took place at Six Seasons Hotel in Dhaka on Wednesday (November 22) at 1:00pm.

The two US Embassy officials in charge of political affairs attended the meeting. 

Rumeen Farhana confirmed the matter. 

“It was a routine meeting. Since I am associated with the foreign wing of BNP, we sometimes have meetings with diplomats of different countries in Dhaka”, she said.

This was one such meeting, she added.
