DHAKA: Jatiya Party (JP) Kazi Zafar Ahmed would join in the ‘March for Democracy’ programme on Sunday called by opposition BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia.

He came up with the assertion in a press briefing in a city hotel on Wednesday afternoon.

Expressing solidarity with the programme, Kazi Zafar said he would lend all out supports to make it a success.

He also applauded the speech of Khaleda Zia as her best speech he has seen so far.

Terming the upcoming 10th general election on January 5 as farcical, he said the continuity of democracy in the country will be interrupted if the election takes place.

He also called the former President HM Ershad as the king of puppets.
