COX’S BAZAR: Members of Rapid Action Battalion nabbed Ukhia upazila secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami from his Morichya village home under the upazila of the district on Wednesday night.

The detainee is identified as Sultan Ahmed, 37.

RAB-7 Cox’s Bazar camp In-charge Major Kadir Rashedul Alam told banglanews that Sultan was held for his alleged involvement in subversive acts. He is being interrogated.
