Top leaders of the 12-party alliance warned that the fall of the Awami League (AL) government cannot be averted even with the help of Russia and India in the upcoming national elections.
They also said Sheikh Hasina's defeat in all her games will lead to the victory of the people of the country to restore democracy and voting rights.
They made the remarks after a demonstration in the capital on Wednesday (November 29) started from the National Press Club to Paltan demanding the AL government to quit power and hold the next election under a non-partisan administration.
The spokesperson of the 12-party alliance and also LDP secretary general Shahadat Hossain Selim said the farewell bell of this government has rung.
The people of the country will not go to this government's fake election, he added.
The 24-hour countrywide blockade called by the BNP and its allies is now underway demanding the cancellation of the schedule for the 12th general election and the resignation of the AL government by handing over power to a poll-time, party-neutral caretaker government.
