Jatiya Party (JaPa) Chairman GM Quader’s wealth has tripled in the last five years while his wife Sherifa Quader’s wealth has more than doubled.

According to the affidavit submitted in the 12th national elections, cash, income from house rent and stocks have also increased for this couple.

In the affidavit of the 11th national elections, Quader mentioned that he had cash worth Tk14,47,973, which increased to Tk49,88,253 in five years. At the same time, his wife’s cash went up to Tk59,59,563 from Tk27,64,701 in five years.

Besides, he had deposits worth Tk13,02,435 in banks and financial institutions five years ago, which is Tk35,95,793 at present.

His wife had Tk4,07,258 deposited in banks and financial institutions, which has risen to Tk27,09,359.

According to GM Quader’s affidavit in the previous national elections that he had no income from agriculture, house rent, business, stocks, savings certificates, or jobs. He earns Tk11,58,000 as house rent received by his dependents, and Tk4.4 lakh from business.

In the affidavit of the 12th national elections, he mentioned that the income from house rent is Tk3 lakh, stocks and savings certificate is Tk30 lakh and the income of his dependents is Tk10 lakh.

Earlier, he used to have a Prado SUV worth Tk40 lakh. At present, he owns a Jeep worth Tk85 lakh.
