SYLHET: Some 147 leaders and activists of opposition BNP and Jamaat were held in a special drive by the law enforcement agency from four districts of the division on early Sunday.

Sources said some 38 from Sylhet, 23 from Moulvibazar, 61 from Habiganj and 26 from Sunamganj districts were detained in the drive.

District Police Media Cell In-charge M Abdul Qaium Gazi confirmed the matter to banglanews.
