BNP won't be able to come to power till 'Qayamat' as they made a mistake by choosing not to contest the polls, said Awami League Jhalakathi-1 constituency candidate barrister M. Shahjahan Omar.

He was delivering a speech at a rally as chief guest at Kathalia Pilot girls’ school field of the district on Friday (December 22).

He also said, “It is not necessary to win all elections. BNP thinks when they can go into power will contest elections, like this the party has been waiting since 15 years, BNP will not be able to come to power till doomsday.”

The rally was held by Upazila Awami League president Bimal Chandra Samaddar.
