DHAKA: A chase and counter chase took place between pro-18 party alliance lawyers and Juba Mahila League at Supreme Court premises on Monday.   

Sources said pro 18-party alliance lawyers brought out a procession around 11:30am and threw brick chips to Mahila League activists who were staying at outside of main gate, triggering a chase and counter chase between them.

Later, a procession of Juba League joined with Mahila League and threw brick chips to the lawyers.    

On the other hand, protesting the attack on lawyers, Supreme Court Lawyers Association announced work abstention for Tuesday across the country.
