DHAKA: British High Commissioner Robert Gibson on Monday afternoon met with BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan residence on Monday.

Sources said the British diplomat entered the residence of the Leader of the Opposition 5:25 pm.

Earlier, BNP vice-chairman Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury and Khaleda’s two advisers--Riaz Rahman and Sabihuddin Ahmed-- were allowed to enter the house.

Diplomats from different countries and international organization also sought to meet Khaleda Zia.

However, the additional security forces were deployed around the BNP chairperson’s Gulshan residence like the precious days.
