DHAKA:  A meeting between US Ambassador to Dhaka Dan W Mozena and BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia was held at her Gulshan political office in the capital on Tuesday afternoon.

BNP Chairperson’s Gulshan office source confirmed the matter to banglanews.

A number of vital issues, including prevailing political deadlock and upcoming parliamentary elections were discussed in the meeting.

Centering BNP’s Nayapaltan programme ‘March for Democracy’, law enforcement agency personnel cordoned the residence of Khaleda Zia for last two days.

On Monday, British High Commissioner to Dhaka Robert Gibson met Khaleda at her residence.
