BNP convened a meeting with its alliance leaders to devise the next course of action programme in response to the evolving situation following the 12th parliamentary election held on January 7.
As part of the efforts, BNP senior leaders held a meeting with its alliance leaders at party Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office in Dhaka on Tuesday afternoon.
During the meeting, they also reviewed their success in convincing people to keep them aside from taking part in the election process, said a senior alliance leader.
They also discussed the success of the anti-government movement waged in a bid to halt the 12th parliamentary election.
Senior BNP leaders will be engaging in meetings with other leaders of the 12-party alliance in phases to formulate their next course of action programme in light of the developing situation.
