DHAKA: Chiefs of six parties have been given chance to deliver their election-speech on Bangladesh Television (BTV), the state owned television channel.

As per the principles, Information Ministry has given 40 minutes to Awami League, 20 minutes to Jatiya Party, and 15 minutes each to Jatiya Party (JP), JASAD, Bangladesh Workers Party and Bangladesh Nationalist Front (BNF).

Joint Secretary (Telecast) of Information Ministry Abul Hossain issued letters to Election Commission (EC) and the general secretaries of the parties in this regard.  

Officials concerned said all the speeches would be telecast before January 3 midnight because all kinds of campaigns have to be ended by the time.
