DHAKA: A delegation of BNP parliamentary party has got appointment to meet President M Abdul Hamid on Friday afternoon.

Confirming the matter, opposition Chief Whip Zainul Abdin Farroque said the President office has given them time to meet at 4:00pm.

On Thursday morning, a delegation of BNP parliamentary party led-by opposition Chief Whip Zainul Abdin Farroque met Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury.

He added: “During the meeting with the house speaker, we expressed our concern about the withdrawal of the protocol of BNP chairperson and sought her intervention to restore the facilities.

Ashraf Uddin Nizan, Syeda Asifa Ashrafi Papia, Nilofar Chowdhury Moni, Rehana Aktar Ranu, Harunur Rashid, Nazimuddin Ahmed and Rasheda Begum Hira were in the delegation of BNP parliamentary party.
