Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will bring out black flag processions across the country on 30 January demanding the cancellation of the 12th parliamentary election and a fresh election under a nonparty Caretaker Government.
The procession will be brought out from all metropolitan cities, districts, upazila and municipality headquarters on that day to press home the party’s demand.
BNP Standing Committee Member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy announced the programme from a rally held in front of the party’s Nayapaltan central office in Dhaka this afternoon (January 27).
Earlier in the day, the leaders and activists of the party brought out a black flag procession in the area protesting the price hike of all essential items in the country.
