DHAKA: Senior leaders of opposition BNP were observing the overall election situation through watching television.

Beside, through contacting with party leaders and activities over cell phone, the leaders are trying to make its vote-resist movements a success.

On the other hand, no top BNP leaders of Dhaka Metropolitan come out on roads but root level leaders-activists created huge anarchy in various districts and upazilas.

Already over hundred polling centers have been torched and a presiding officer was beaten to death and an assistant presiding officer was chopped.

BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir went on hiding for more than one month.
