MAGURA: District BNP called half-day hartal (shutdown) in the district for Saturday for demanding immediate release of the party leaders.

President of the district BNP Kabir Murad made the hartal announcement on Saturday noon.

The shutdown would be enforced from 6:00am to 12:00 noon in the day, he said.

Murad said, “We called shutdown in the district demanding release of the party leaders and activists and protesting false charges on BNP men.”
