DHAKA: Police on Sunday submitted charge sheet against 11 people including BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir in the explosive case filed with Motijheel Thana.

The other accused are- Golam Hossain Mazumdar Noyon, Saiful Islam, Sajib, Kamruzzaman, Abul Kalam Azad, Atikur Rahman, Alauddin, Rokonuzzaman, Saifullah and Ahsan Habib.

Motijheel Thana Sub-Inspector Azizul Islam submitted the charge sheet with the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court.

Confirming the matter, Police Constable Ishak, also Munshi of concerned thana at the court, told banglanews, “Actually the charge sheet was submitted on December 14. But Metropolitan Magistrate Mahbubur Rahman signed the file on Sunday as it will be transferred to metropolitan session judge court.”

Earlier on December 9, 2013, police filed the case as BNP-Jamaat hurled cocktails, torched vehicles during the blockade of 18-party alliance.
