JHENIDAH: District BNP on Wednesday suspended its Jhenidah Sadar upazila unit president Advocate Munshi Kamal Azad Pannu for being a candidate in Upazila Parishad Election for violating party’s decision.

General Secretary of district BNP Abdul Malek confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He also said they took the decision after an emergency meeting of district BNP and sent the request to the central leaders.

District BNP president Moshiur Rahman, also central organizing secretary, was present in the meeting as chief guest.

Violating the decision of the party, Munshi Kamal Azad Pannu announced his candidacy in the Upazila Parishad Election.
