The West Bengal Police CID team continued their search operation in the Bhangar area in connection with the murder case of Bangladeshi MP Anwarul Azim Anar who went missing for days in Kolkata.
The investigation continued for the second consecutive day, on May 25.
The CID team is conducting the search operation to find the remaining body parts of the MP who was found dead in Kolkata on May 22.
The investigation department had earlier said that they arrested one of the suspects in the case, who is a butcher by profession.
Earlier, a CCTV video had surfaced online which showed two people, alleged murderers of Bangladesh MP Anwarul Azim Anar, leaving a flat in Kolkata's New Town.
The footage revealed two men walking out of the apartment. One of the men was seen carrying a large suitcase, while the other one had multiple plastic bags with him.
According to police, they had found blood stains while they were searching for the missing leader.
Anar, who entered India on May 12, was last seen on May 13 afternoon, accompanying friends for a medical check-up at a residence in Bidhannagar near Kolkata.
