Gono Forum today signed the July National Charter, 2025 at the LD Hall of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, officially joining the growing list of political parties endorsing the document.

The party’s Acting President Subrata Chowdhury and General Secretary Dr Mizanur Rahman signed the charter on behalf of Gono Forum, in the presence of senior party leaders.

Among others present were National Consensus Commission Vice Chairman Professor Ali Riaz, members Safar Raj Hossain, Dr Iftekharuzzaman, and Dr Badiul Alam Majumdar, as well as Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant Monir Haidar.

The July National Charter, led by Chief Adviser and Commission Chairman Professor Muhammad Yunus, was first signed on October 17 in a festive ceremony at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, with representatives from multiple political parties and commission members in attendance.

Although Gono Forum representatives were present at that earlier event, they did not sign the document at the time. With today’s signing, a total of 26 political parties have now endorsed the charter, marking another step toward broader national consensus.
