Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ordered the release of all detained students in Quota Reform Movement.
She made the announcement today at a meeting held with the leaders of Peshajibi Samannay Parishad (Professional Coordination Council) at Ganabhaban.
She said that orders were given to release the detained general students.
The PM also said, 'The door of the public building is open. I want to sit with the quota activists and listen to them. I don't want conflict.'
At that time, the head of government announced the cancellation of the proposed pension system in universities, autonomous institutions and government institutions.
Meanwhile, the agitating students are protesting in different districts of the country with 9 point demands.
There have been allegations of attacks by the police, Chhatra League-Youth League in the organized mass march. The anti-discrimination student movement has called for a protest march across the country today, claiming that students and general public have been injured.
The students have also called for an all-out non-cooperation movement from Sunday. In the meantime, the Prime Minister announced this.
