A Dhaka court on Thursday placed former deputy speaker Shamsul Haque Tuku, former state minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak and Dhaka University Chhatra League General Secretary Tanvir Hasan Saikat on 10-day remand each.
Metropolitan Magistrate of Dhaka Rashidul Alam passed the order on Thursday (August 15).
Earlier, Shamsul Haque Tuku, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, and Tanvir Hasan Saikat were arrested in Dhaka.
They were arrested from the Nikunja residential area following a tip-off, confirmed Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Obaidur Rahman of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Media and Public Relations Division.
