Youth and Sports adviser Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan said a committee would be formed by Sunday with architects and museum experts to turn Ganabhaban into the 'July Uprising Memorial Museum'.
"Our Cabinet has already decided to make the Ganabhaban a 'July Uprising Memorial Museum'," he said after visiting Ganabhaban on Saturday (September 7).
Asif Mahmud, "Ganabhaban to be freed for the public." It will be made 'July Uprising Memorial Museum' to preserve the memories of the genocide that happened in the month of July.
The processing of building up a museum will start soon, Asif said.
He added: "The Ganabhaban will be kept in the condition it is in, the way the people have kept it. A museum will be built up inside it."
Information and Broadcasting adviser Nahid Islam and Industry Ministry adviser Adilur Rahman Khan were also visited Ganabhaban with Asif Mahmud.
