Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus is set to hold talks with five major political parties, Islami advocacy group Hefazat-e-Islam and a leftist alliance to discuss reforms in state mechanisms.
The parties were invited to join the talks at state guesthouse Jamuna. Each participating group has been allotted about half an hour to discuss reform-related issues with Yunus starting 2.30pm today (Oct 5).
The alliance of leftist parties would also get half-an-hour.
Yunus would first meet with a delegation from BNP, followed by delegates from Jamaat-e-Islami, Ganatantra Manch, the alliance of leftist parties, Hefazat-e-Islam, Islami Andolon Bangladesh and Amar Bangladesh (AB) Party.
