DHAKA: BNP office secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi alleged that ruling Awami League assumes power by the grace of foreign assistance.

He came up with the observation while addressing a meeting as chief guest at National Press Club in the capital on Friday.

Rizvi said: “The government is responsible for recent massive murders across the country. They will have to pay for that.”

He also said that no autocratic government could sustain for long time and succeed in the world history. So AL government will have the same consequences.

This government will be repelled through demonstration by the people, he added.

However, Shommilito Peshajibi Parishad held the program where senior leaders of BNP along with the convener of the organization Ruhul Amin Gazi were present.
