The Association of Engineers Bangladesh (AEB) has announced a new 51-member convening committee, with Engineer Shahrin Islam Tuhin appointed as the convener. Alongside, a 35-member advisory committee has also been formed.
The announcement came on Monday (Sep 15) through a press release signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
According to the release, Engineer A N H Akhter Hossain has been named as the chief advisor of the 35-member advisory council. Other advisors include former lawmaker Engineer Manjurul Ehsan, Engineer Golam Mostafa, Engineer Shahiduzzaman, and Engineer Fazlul Azim, along with 31 others.
The 51-member convening committee will be led by Engineer Shahrin Islam Tuhin as convener. Other members include Engineer Shoaib Bashri Hablu, Engineer Khan Manjur Morshed, Engineer Miah Mohammad Kaiyum, Engineer Abul Kashem Mia, and 46 more members.
In addition, the preparatory committee for the upcoming conference and council of EAB will be managed by Abul Kashem Mia, Niaz Uddin Bhuiyan, Shamim Rabbi Shanchay, Sabbir Ahmed Osmani, Shafiul Azam Fahim, and Abdullah Al Mamun, who will carry out official responsibilities.
