A delegation from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) visited Jamaat-e-Islami chief Dr Shafiqur Rahman at United Hospital in Dhaka today (August 3) to enquire about his health on behalf of BNP’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman.

The BNP team comprised Joint Secretary General Habibun Nabi Khan Sohel and Joint Secretary General Shahiduddin Chowdhury Anee, who also serves as the member secretary of the party’s Media Cell.

During their visit, the BNP leaders spoke with Dr Rahman’s family members and consulting physicians to gather updates on his medical treatment and current condition.

Dr Shafiqur Rahman has been receiving treatment at the hospital for several days.
