The high command of National Citizen’s Party (NCP) has issued show cause letter to its five member of central convening committee.

Tasneem Zara, Khaled Saifullah, Hasnat Abdullah, Sarjis Alam and Nasiruddin Patwari, were hit with the notification on Wednesday (August 6).

The decision regarding issuing of show cause letter came after five leaders visited Cox’s Bazar on the anniversary of ‘July mass uprising’ on August 5.

According to notification, these five leaders did not inform the political council of the party regarding their visit to Cox’s Bazar. 

A notification in this regard, signed by NCP Joint Member Secretary (Office) Saleh Uddin Sifat, stated that the five leaders have been asked to appear in person within 24 hours and provide an explanation to Convener Md. Nahid Islam and Member Secretary Akhter Hossain.
